Since its inception in 1953 the Paterson Police Federal Credit Union has been serving members of the Paterson Police Department with exceptional financial products. Currently led by Danny Nichols, and staffed by John Russo and John Altonjy the Paterson Police FCU has grown its membership to over 1000 with more than $5,000,000 in assets.
Members can take advantage of several loan products and savings accounts with above average interest rates. Members deposits are fully insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA.
Membership is limited to Active and Retired Paterson Police Officers
A Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution, owned and operated by its members. These members, who are united by a common bond of association, democratically operate the credit union under state and federal regulations.
The Credit Union currently offers unsecured Signature loans up to $10,000, New Car loans up to $40,000, and Used Car loans up to $35,000. For more information, loan applications and current interest rates please contact the credit union during business hours.
The credit union offers savings accounts with higher average interest rates then traditionally banks. Optional Payroll deduction is available to help members accelerate their savings balance.
